Lynne Algrant


Lynne Algrant is the Chief Operating Officer of Bia Fund. She is the Vice President for Planning, Development & Communications at Greater Bergen Community Action. Prior to joining GBCA, Lynne served as CEO of Bergen Volunteers. In January 2017, she was named one of 17 people to watch by After a career in independent schools, her interest in civic leadership and engagement evolved as the first Program Manager of The Cleveland Executive Fellowship in 2004.

Lynne served as the Councilmember-at-Large for Englewood, NJ (2010-15) and was elected twice by her peers to serve as Council President. She currently serves as Board President for HACPAC, Inc, and is a member of the Healthy NJ 2030 Advisory Committee.

Lynne founded H10A Consulting, a practice focused on issues of leadership and effectiveness. Clients included: Association of Black Foundation Executives, Cleveland Fire Department, Harvard School of Design, Bergen LEADS, among others.

Her BA in English and History is from Emory University, where she was a Woodruff Scholar.  Her MA in English is from Rutgers, where she was a University Graduate Fellow.
